Overview

AnyWatermark collects only the information needed to process images, provide AI-assisted watermark removal, process payments, prevent abuse, and operate the website.

Information You Provide

• Uploaded images: image files and associated information such as file name, size, type, and processing instructions.
• Image processing content: automatically identified watermark-covered areas, generated repair candidates, review choices, and processed results created during the removal workflow.
• Account information: name, email address, avatar, authentication provider, and settings when you sign in.
• Payment information: checkout, order, and subscription metadata from payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers.
• Support and newsletter information: email address, messages, and subscription preferences.

Information Collected Automatically

• IP address, user agent, approximate location, and logs.
• Device, browser, page view, referral, and usage data.
• Abuse-prevention signals for uploads and processing, including anonymous visitor context and rate-limit events.
• For anonymous watermark trials, a one-way browser fingerprint hash used to limit repeated free processing.
• Cookies needed for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, and payment flows.

How We Use Information

• Analyze uploads and automatically identify or repair watermark-covered areas.
• Provide previews, processed results, and downloads.
• Manage accounts, credits, purchases, and support requests.
• Prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and unauthorized access.
• Improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Send product updates or newsletter emails only where permitted by your preferences and applicable law.

Service Providers

We may use providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, payments, email, analytics, abuse prevention, file storage, and AI model access. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services to us.

Depending on configuration, providers may include payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal, or Creem; email providers such as Resend; storage providers such as Cloudflare R2; and AI providers selected for image analysis and repair.

Data Retention

Uploaded source images, intermediate candidates, output images, and expired job access are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours. Limited account, order, credit, and processing records may be retained while your account is active or as needed for security, support, accounting, and legal obligations.

Anonymous watermark-trial abuse-prevention records may be retained for up to 90 days for security and service reliability.

Your Choices

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information where applicable. Some records may need to be retained for fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance.
